Biweekly Update #37

Stay up to date on the latest from Entangle, covering October 20th through November 8, 2024.

The last few weeks have seen key L1 integrations in the Bridge alongside the launch of Universal Data Feeds, as well as the first protocols and blockchains integrating the feeds.

Over a thousand community members tuned into our first community Town Hall, streamed simultaneously on X and YouTube, and Build to Burn was launched with the burning of 10 million NGL. Anyone can now join in the burns.

Development

Numerous key milestones in development were met, both on the front and back-ends. Updates to the bridge were rolled out with USDC and transaction history tracking alongside the release of Omnipoints v1.4.5, allowing you to connect both Solana and EVM wallets to the dashboard. In preparation for the ZeroSum Public Testnet, optimisations for tournaments with up to 1,000 parallel games in Chess, CS and other popular games were executed.

Events

The Burn to Build Programme kicked off with an inaugural burn of $680k worth of NGL tokens being destroyed forever. This initiative supports the long term sustainability of the Entangle Ecosystem with a daily burn matching the remaining emissions, that can be triggered by any community member.

We have now integrated Avalanche and Polygon into the E-Bridge, unlocking new possibilities in interoperability and utility, while Ethernity and 5ire are now receiving feeds from UDF.

Community

The 24th October saw a record-breaking turnout for the  Community Town Hall with CEO Faisal Mehrban discussing  the recent developments at Entangle, scalability in blockchains and dropping alpha on upcoming releases.

The public stage of the ZeroSum Testnet launched, allowing anyone to experience the ZS platform firsthand, and in Gorpopolis the Games continue with three chests now open and the distribution of the second Golden Ticket allocation complete.
