We are excited to announce that Entangle has successfully integrated with Core, the first Bitcoin-aligned, EVM-compatible Layer-1 blockchain. This integration combines Core’s innovative Satoshi Plus consensus mechanism with Entangle’s Photon Messaging and bridging capabilities, creating new opportunities for decentralized finance (DeFi) and cross-chain interoperability.
Core Dao
Core stands out in the blockchain space by merging Bitcoin’s security with the flexibility of Ethereum. The Satoshi Plus consensus, a hybrid model combining Delegated Proof of Work (DPoW) and Delegated Proof of Stake (DPoS), ensures both security and scalability.
Core’s EVM compatibility allows for the easy deployment of Ethereum-based smart contracts, while its non-custodial BTC staking feature lets users stake Bitcoin without relinquishing control, earning CORE tokens in return.
The introduction of stCORE offers a liquid staking solution, adding further utility to the CORE token. Additionally, CoreBTC, the native bridged BTC, facilitates seamless integration with Bitcoin, enhancing its role within the Core ecosystem.
Omnichain Bitcoin
This integration enables cross-chain asset transfers between Core and other blockchains, significantly enhancing liquidity and enabling more complex DeFi strategies. Entangle’s Universal Data Feeds (UDF) can now be utilized within the Core ecosystem, providing reliable, real-time data from both Web2 and Web3 sources directly to smart contracts.
